Proactive Education and Training - The doctors and staff at Heartland Animal Hospital take a hands-on approach in educating and training our clients about the best possible care for their pets, throughout all stages of life. This is what we call P.E.T.-Proactive Education and Training. From flea/tick prevention to behavioral issues. From infectious diseases to inherited disorders, we make sure all of our clients receive the education and training they need to make informed decisions on how best to care for their furry family members.

You will find that the staff at Heartland Animal Hospital makes regular recommendations for your pets health. Keeping our clients informed and educated keeps your beloved four-legged friends happy and healthy. Our goal is to strengthen the relationship between client, pet and doctor.

Heartland Animal Hospital is warm and inviting veterinary hospital in Southern Boone County for you and your pet! Dr. Cuddihee and her Vet Tech staff are compassionate, caring, knowledgeable and professional with the care of our pets' needs. We've been using Heartland for all our pets needs for the last 17 years, 3 dogs and 4 cats. Her staff was able to help us deal with the special needs, such as bone cancer, tail docking - due to an injury, and upper respiratory problems. Dr. Cuddihee and her staff continue to educate themselves on current treatments and regiments for keeping our pets healthy. Following their recommendations and guidelines have kept our pets living a long and health happy life.
